Hi Carol,
Thank-you for raising the most wonderful dogs!  We are truly in love with our puppy, Bruno, a choc/white cockapoo who was born on 5/21/01.  We picked him up about 8 weeks later, and our lives have never been the same.  Bruno has brought immense joy to us, and certainly has made our family "complete".  No matter where I go with Bruno, people stop and inquire about him.  The vet and groomer I take him to, are constantly remarking about what a great dog he is.  Bruno has such a loving, wonderful disposition, a true testatomial to your impeccable breeding.  Thank-you for all your hard work, love and dedication.  We have certainly benefitted from it, as our Bruno is purely a delight!  I attached a picture of my children with Bruno on Lake Wallenpaupack in PA.   Sincerely, Michelle, Nick, Nicholas, John and Kristen.

Hi Carol,
Just wanted to wish you and all the fine folks at Mulberry Farm a wonderful holiday season, and the best of health in 2002!

Harley is now 6 months old and the complete joy of my life.  She is trained, a few accidents here and there, but for the most part she is at the point of signaling me when she has to go out and that is so great!  I can't tell you how many people have told me that she is the prettiest puppy they have ever seen, but I know that you have heard that so many times before.  I will have to send you a photo of her after the holidays.  Please keep us in mind that I would like to get a sister for her in the springtime, a darker color.  She is such a wonderful addition to our household, that I would like to get another one.

Again, have a great time this holiday season, and if you are not too busy, drop me a line.  Take care...

Hi Carol,

Chipper (the black/white cockapoo) has easily integrated himself into our family.  He was given a clean, healthy, happy and mellow seal of approval from the vet.  He completely charmed the vet!  He was very impressed with him, how easy going, happy and social he was on his very first visit.  And of course, everyone who meets him cannot believe how cute and adorable he is.  What a face!  The other good news is, that after the first day, he got comfortable in his crate!  In fact, he sleeps peacefully through the whole night.  As long as he is in the same room as people, he is happy.  I take him (in his crate) with me where ever I go.  Luckily, he LOVES the car.  And I love his company!  So, that's the news here.  Thank you again so much for everything!  I hope that your friend is doing well and that you are enjoying the holiday season.

Hi Carol,

I hope that you enjoyed the holidays and that you have a very Happy New Year!  I also just wanted to let you know how Chipper is doing.  We have had him home with us now for three weeks, and we can't imagine what life was like without him!  Everywhere he goes he breaks hearts, he is so friendly, sweet, and adorable!  He LOVES to be cuddled, and he loves to run around and play.  The other day, he scratched on the door that goes out to his area to let us know he needed to go out!  How is that for house broken??!  Not bad I'd say for just three weeks!  Anyway, thank you again, and we hope all is well with you and yours.  Take Care,

Hi Carol, Jim, and everyone at the Mulberry Farm.
Carol, I had a conversation with a customer recently that has me steaming and so I just wanted to write a letter to share with your potential adoptive families.

I was on the phone last week with a customer and somehow we got on the subject of pets.  Turns out she shows her dogs.  I mentioned how delighted I was with our Cockapoo, "Emma", we got this summer from Mulberry Farm.  "Oh, you mean a puppy mill," she replied.  As a professional, I couldn't say what was really on my mind but I would like to do so now.

Our twelve-year-old daughter Callie was very sad about her sister moving out of the house last summer to go to college.  My husband and I both felt a puppy would help bring some excitement and joy into the house.  We were not sure how to go about getting a puppy and so we contacted a veterinarian who came highly recommended.  He offered excellent tips on what to look for in a breeder.  Such as:
  1. Are the parents on the premises?  If so, are they happy and playful and well kept?
  2. Will the breeder let you look at the mom and puppies where they sleep and play?
  3. Is their cage roomy and clean?
  4. Do they offer health records and the name of the vet who has treated them so far?
With this knowledge I set out to visit breeders.  I must tell you that I had one experience where I wished I had not brought along my younger daughter.  This particular breeder advertised a much lower fee and since we are budget minded, we decided to give it a shot.  When we knocked on the door, We were instructed to go wait in a certain room and they would bring the puppies to us.  The first thing I noticed was the terrible stench coming from the lower level of the house.  I asked if I could see the mother and they said she was at a partner's house and repeated that we must wait for them to bring the puppies to us.  When they finally brought them upstairs I could have cried.  They were so afraid and cowered under the table.  I asked if they had any others and then attempted to follow them when they went to get more.  They rudely told me to "Stop!" and that I had to wait in the room for the puppies to be brought to me.  I knew instinctively this was what the vet warned me to watch out for -- a puppy mill.  These are people who do not give a damn about the animals in their care.  I grabbed my daughter and got out of there fast.

When I came upon Mulberry Farm's website, I was excited to see it was just an hour away from my home.  Our visit included the "grand tour" (we never had to ask).  Carol's puppies jumped up excitedly every time we walked into the room and when you picked them up, they licked your face clean!  The puppies and mom were not hidden away somewhere, they were right in the house with the rest of the family.  I mentioned to Carol that Callie was busy earning the money to pay for her puppy.  (My husband and I both felt this would give Callie the discipline necessary to take care of a pet.)  When Carol suggested that Callie spend part of her summer working at the farm we jumped at chance.  What better way to learn about puppies!  I accompanied Callie on several occasions and I can tell you firsthand this is one special place.  Pets come before people here.  At the crack of dawn, all cages and kennels are cleaned, and pets are fed.  After they're taken care of, you can take a break, freshen up and have breakfast.  Here, Carol and Jim go over the list of things to do that day.  Callie got to work with the veterinarian and the vet technician.  She bathed the puppies, helped give medicine, and was even treated to kennel clean up!  The whole experience was one we will never forget.  I trusted Carol with one of my most prized possessions and in turn she gave me one of hers to take home.  Emma has been a delight for the whole family.  For those of you who feel the need to criticize I ask, "Could you hold up to a mother's scrutiny?"  Carol and the folks at Mulberry farm can!

Dear Carol,

There are not words to fully describe how wonderful it is to have "Coco" here... the moment I saw his picture, in the litter, I felt he was born to be my dog.  :o)   I think he thinks so too.  I would have flown even further than I did to get him!  And it is a "fer" piece from New Mexico to New York; however, worth every mile!

What a great dog he is, how much fun he has made my life... so full of joy, love and happiness, there is no way to have a grumpy day with him here.  He is so smart, learning so much... he loves it, has the routines down pretty well by now... only three months old.  Sometimes because he is so smart, and learns so quickly I have to remember that he is still just a little puppy, and not expect too much, although he always comes up with the goods.

I cannot possibly come up with enough good words to tell you what a wonderful job you do breeding these "first-class" dogs... it is a privilege to own one.  Oh, and referring to his "First Class Status"... as I told you, when we flew home the airline people fell in love with him, and bumped me up into the First Class section, so they could see him, and visit every now and then... so he is definitely my "First Class Dog".  They all wanted him.

Thank you Carol, I hope you have a super Holiday, and that Jim is doing well too..."Hi" Jim.

Love,
Sue and of course "Coco" sends his little "woof" too.

Dear Carol,

I just wanted to let you know...

Two years ago we bought a cockapoo from you as a birthday {gift} for our daughter's birthday.  My daughter named her Elizabeth.  We never had the heart to keep her in the crate for any length of time.  At night my husband and I (we alternated between her and our nine-month old son) took turns sleeping on the living room floor next to the crate so that we could take care of her immediately if she was upset.  If we went anywhere we insisted that she had to come with us or stay with my parents until she no longer needed the crate (once we even hired a sitter to take her for walks a few times because my parents weren't available and we couldn't get out of our obligation).  Now that she no longer needs a crate I rush home from work at 2:00p.m., so that she can have a 40 minute walk with me before I pick up my daughter from school and my son from nursery school.  Recently, I read an article about agility classes on Long Island, because I thought she would like it the whole family went to the first class to check it out and to cheer her on.  She was a natural!  So now, because she loved it so much, my husband and I look forward to taking turns bringing her (my son-  who is now three-  got a little antzy after awhile).  Elizabeth is well-loved and adored.  I thought you would be happy to know.

Sincerely thanking you,

Patty

Dear Carol,
As I mentioned when I spoke with you the other day, Molly (Snooky & Bada's little girl) just turned 6 months old on November 11th and she is the light of our lives!  If I do say so myself, she's the smartest, most adoreable and loveable pup in our neighborhood!

When I picked her up at the groomer last week, the mother and daugher who own the place (Central Bark!) were kidding, but they said they wanted to keep her because she was so well behaved and sweet.  When I tell people she's a cockapoo from Mulberry Farm, they're not surprised since you have such a great reputation for breeding wonderful dogs!  Oh, and by the way, her coloring is just gorgeous.  She's mostly buff and white but her ears are a beautiful "caramel" color.

She was spayed a few weeks ago and came through like a champ!  All our friends who have puppies or adult dogs want us to bring her over because she is such a great playmate for both humans and other dogs.

Once again, thank you for being a part of making our lives richer with the addition of Molly.  I'll send you some new pictures as soon as I have them developed!

Best wishes to you and your family for a happy and healthy Holiday!

I just sent a second person in your direction to buy a Cockapoo and want to take this opportunity to tell you how wonderful our Coconut is.  She is the Cockapoo we bought from you on June 2nd.  She was born on 4/6/01.  Lambchop is her mom, and Splash is her dad.

We ADORE her.  She is the sweetest, loveliest, happiest, most good-natured dog.  She loves everyone, children, adults, other dogs.  She's with us virtually all the time, and brings us tremendous joy.  She's smart, she's cute, she's spunky, she's fun to play with, and so full of love.

I just wanted you to know.

You mentioned the Ones List or group when I picked Coconut up and I've been wondering what it is ever since.  Can you tell me more about that?

I hope all is well with you and your family.

Sincerely,
Nancy D.

Dear Carol,

How are you?  I know it has been a while since I have written you an update on our darling Gracie...  Puppies do keep you busy!

Things have been wonderful, I can't believe that it has been six weeks since we picked her up.  The housebreaking has been going great.  She has not had an accident in the house in over three weeks.  I can leave her gated in the kitchen (rather than in the crate) for up to two hours and come home to a relaxed puppy who is ready to go out!  I really believe she has an understanding of where her toilet is!  I work with her daily on simple commands, and leash work.  She is attentive and smart, and at 15 weeks, she can sit, fetch, and heel pretty reliably.  She settles great for the family, but of course when visitors appear she is frisky and all training goes out the window!  We love it!

Now, let me tell you how cute and delicious this puppy is!!  Not to brag, but I have never seen a smarter, cuter, more content little dog.  We adore her.  She has a special relationship with each member of the family.  The kids have never been happier.

Anyway, I want to thank you for all you have done for Gracie... she is obviously well bred, healthy and beautiful.  We are enjoying every minute of her.  It was great working with you (mostly over the phone, and email!) but trusting you to choose our dog for us was a wonderful decision!  Every step of the way, you took great care in understanding our requests, and honored them 100%.  I hope this letter will serve as a testimonial to your excellence as a dog breeder.

We love our pup!  Thank you for our little black and white cockerpoo!

Hi Carol,
You most certainly may use my E-mail as a testimony.  Carol, if you ever want any customers to call us for a referral you may do so as well.
How are you?  We tried to send you a bunch of IM's but you must be very busy.  We understand that you have another Kings Park family (The Kosels) coming to get a pup from you this weekend.  It is making Regina's maternal PUPPY instincts jealous and she keeps asking me if we should get anonther.  She loves Roxy so much.  Regina and the Girls are so happy with Roxy.  Roxy and me are best friends.  When ever we have company, they say what a great dog she is.  They say she is very friendly and has such a great disposition.  We tell them that is because she came from a great breeder and great stock.  We always brag about Mulberry Farm and give out your website.  I hope this is ok with you?  I know I owe you some pictures.  I promise I will send them over on Sunday.
Roxy is so much a part of our family.  It is funny how she wakes me up in the morning to go out.  How she lies down with us at night.  The funniest is when I come home from a business trip and have a gift for Amanda and Jessica.  The two girls will stand in a line and hold their hands out for a gift that I picked up in my travels.  Roxy will sit in line with the girls and start jumping up for a gift as well.  I always pick some toy for her too.  Right now I have to go because Roxy wants some crushed ice.  She loves crushed ice.  It must be like icecream to her.  Take care and I am sure Regina will be contacting you soon.

Hi Carol,
I have another update on my wonderful dog!  Katie started obedience class on Tue.  The woman who runs this class is really tough: she takes no excuses for anything... you are either committed to training your dog or else "get out."  Needless to say, I was a bit nervous.  I've been teaching Katie little things since we first brought her home and this was much to our advantage.  The instructor approached me first and asked me to demonstrate any commands that Katie already knew.  So, I told Katie to sit, and she did; then I said down, and down she went; next I said "let's go", and she followed... seeing that my little genius is only 5 mos. old, the instructor was very impressed.  She then took Katie from me briefly and used her to demonstrate the new commands we would be learning: Katie executed them with flying colors!!!  I was so proud it brought tears to my eyes.  She's just like my child to me!  The instructor was full of praise, and Katie just sucked it all up... she's such a ham.  I love to brag!

Hope all is well with you.  I keep checking your web site to see new pictures of all the pups.  I really would like to have another girl this summer... keep me posted.  Love, Sue

I am writing because I was just looking at your website and noticed that if we had not received the NACR certificate to contact you.  We have not received it and have since moved from West Point to upstate NY.
I just need to fill you in on Caili.  She is a wonderful dog and everyone that meets her falls in love.  We have had several family members who have allergies and they are NOT bothered at all with her.  She is so much fun and loves to go for a ride to "Oma's" house.  That is my mother and she spoils the dog like you have never seen.  Also, with living on the beach she loves to chase the ducks off her territory.  I would love another cockapoo one day from the same parents as Caili.  Her disposition can't be beat!!  This was the best decision!!  If there is ever anyone who is questioning or wants to talk to one of the owners of your pups, I would be happy to let them know what nice dogs you breed.  Thanks again!!

Hi Carol,
How are you doing?  Myself and the girls are just fine.  Just felt the need to let you know that taking Precious to the city can be overwhelming at times.  (smile)..  She is just a friendly and pretty dog until we are stopped constantly.  When we were in central park so many people gave compliments.  She would never bark, all she would do is run around and play with Jade and her friend.  Jade was a little upset, because if anyone would whistle to get her attention Precious would go.  Jade would then pick her up and bring her back to me.  Very over-protective, that Jade.  Precious is complete with all her shots of course.  She had her first grooming today.  When I took her in she was looking like a cockerspaniel.  Once I picked her up she looked like a poodle(HA-HA).  It's amazing how people have their own dogs with them and they are fascinated with *her*.  It's funny how some people would look at her and say I want a cockerspaniel and then others would guess and say she's part poodle.  One lady complimented all 3 of us together... I always thought Jade and Precious made me look good.  She's not a yappy dog.  She barks only when she needs to go to the bathroom and to let us know she is finished.  She whines most of the time for Jade.  When Jade is stuck in front of the T.V. and Precious wants the attention, boy does the whining begin.  Those 2 act really like sisters.  They both love each other so much.  I would think that Jade would be a dog lover the way she is with Precious.  No way, she doesn't want another dog near her or Precious for that matter.  I'm new at this and I've learned alot with the help of you, books and people I meet in the pet store.  My friend bought a Shiht-zu male.  He used to brag about how he had his dog for only 2 weeks and the dog became paper trained early, as compared to Precious.  I did Crate training and he used his own method.  His dog now gives him a problem with going on the paper.  I say to him you should have gotten a cockapoo.  Until next time.  Thank you once again for the opportunity.

O-N-E!... falls immediately in love with Buffy Samantha.  She is fine, absolutely beautiful, extremely bright, and wonderfully mannered.  In a word "PERFECT".  A true gift of joy and abounding love.  Thank you and Thank you again so very, very much.  She fills My world with wonder and brings a light to My life.  Buffy has made a home in My heart and a brought unconditional love to My home.  She was worth much more and I am grateful more than words can express for Her.  She has touched so many, and is sought by and asked after by so many more.  She is considered by many to be the unofficial neighborhood mascot.  Cries of "Buffy, Buffy.." can be heard clearly and often, on an almost daily basis, from neighborhood children.  Adults never stay strangers long to Buffy Samantha either, often coming by (and taking the scenic route, Out of Their way to pet Her belly) and inquire after Her.  Anyone who even considered return of, or refusal of, one of Your Firbabies is beyond understanding and begs the question "WHY?"
Plp, Buffy Samantha and Me.
PS.

Please continue to write when opportunity presents itself.  We do not follow the "Cock-a-poo" listing any longer.  Ginny T and Puffin are all We look for now.  Thanxs again, Ric.

Hi Carol!

Charlie is ten months old now, and I have no idea how we ever lived without him!!  Not only is he a total joy for us, but strangers who pass him on the street break into huge smiles!  And these are New Yorkers!  People comment on him constantly, saying anything from "What a cute puppy" to "He's absolutely perfect" to "How cute is that dog."  He has been completely housebroken for a while now, and we just started letting him sleep in bed with us  -  I know you're not supposed to, but my husband and I can't help it  -  he's just so adorable and cuddly.  When he gets worn out, he'll do something he's not supposed to, like grab one of my daughters' toys, and that's his signal that he needs his crate.  I get the "crate biscuit", and he dashes into the crate all by himself  -  what a dream boy!!  I take him to a dog run as often as I can for exercise and socializing, and he's so ecstatic to be with his friends  -  he runs to greet each arriving dog, and eventually finds the sweet ones to play with.  Since he doesn't bark at dogs, he always looks a little startled when he's barked at.  Actually he only barks if he thinks there's an intruder he doesn't recognize.  And his coat!!  Carol, it's the softest, curliest, shiniest black.  He also has some brown around his mouth, white under his chin and on his tummy, and some silver on his thighs  -  completely gorgeous!!!  He is the absolute best dog in the world  -  he loves babies, children, other dogs, everyone!!  Can't thank you enough for breeding the prettiest, healthiest, sweetest cockapoos!!!

Hi Carol.  Rylee and I were in our first (for the both of us) fun match today.  It was a pre-novice obedience class.  Everything was done on leash.  I was so proud of Rylee.  She did very well.  Even though we didn't finish in the top three, I think we both did good for being our first time.  There were 25 entries in the class.  Rylee got 150½ points out of 160 points possible.  The dog taking third had 153 points so I thought we did good.  Her one minute sit-stay and 3 minute down-stay were perfect.  No points taken off on either one.  It was on her heeling and turns where points were taken off.  She got the smell of something, and was sniffing alot, creating wide turns.  Her recall was great but she didn't sit right in front of me.  She was off to the left a little bit.  Usually she is right in the middle.  For her first class I thought she was great.  I'm including a picture of the both of us showing off her ribbon.

Dear Carol,
Hope all is well with you and you're keeping cool in this heat.

Molly (Snookie & Bada's pup) is doing great!  She gets bigger and more adoreable each day.  We just had her to the Vet for another shot, and he says she's in great shape.

Mark is absolutely in love with her, so when he gets home from work and says "How's my girl?" I know he doesn't mean me!!

She took to her crate really well and now she goes in there on her own to nap.  She whimpered and cried just the first night home, but then she slept through with no problems.  She's playful and loveable and is great with all our friends.  Everyone comments on how cute she is and how beautiful her color is.

I just took a roll of film in to be developed today and I'll send you some pictures this week.

Thanks to you and Rob we have a new family member that we love more than I can say!

Best,

Carol, I am sorry I did not email earlier to tell you that little Wendell is doing fine.  We are so in love with this puppy!  He is so cuddly and playful.  Our standard poodle (who is about 70 pounds) was initially not too happy to see him, but Wendell has adopted this "habit" of just sitting down between Luke's front paws and gazing up at his chin.  Luke has melted, and now actually sleeps on the floor in front of Wendell's crate instead of on my bed.

Please tell Karen how he is doing for me and tell her we are just amazed at how well he is trained.  As far as I know, he has not had a single accident... responds like a champ to his instructions to pee and poop.

Thank you for this dog!

Hi Carol,
I sat one night and read the web page you have for the crate training.  Not only did it help me with the crate training, but it helped me realize the behavior of a dog if you allow them to become the dominating factor in the family.  I kid you not... ever since I followed those instructions, as well as Jade, everything is 100% better.  She sits , lays and stays on command.  She was in the living room with my fiance and when I walked away she was about to follow.  I said "Lay down!", and she did just that.  He was shocked.  Even if she barks and I say "NO", she stops.  If she has something in her mouth and when i try to pull it out she'll tug away from me, I just say "no" and her mouth will open immediately.  She's not wetting the crate over night.  She's awake at 5:30a.m., ready to go to the bathroom.  She definitely is establishing better bladder control, except when she is excited, she's trickling urine.  I still sit amazed that I have a dog.  My fiance says she is perfect for this family.  She's so pretty.  Jade and I put a ribbon around her and it did nothing for her.  She doesn't need those accessories, because she is naturally beautiful.  One of my co-workers went to the web and saw her.  She replied that she was prettier than all the others.  I said the breeder thought the same thing.  My fiance said I got my monies worth.  Thank you once again.  When I see other dogs, not one can match up to her.  She's a diamond.  Once I tell people who never heard of a cockapoo what she is mixed with, the first thing they say is she must be pretty.  Right now she's napping.  I stay firm, but loving and all is well.

Hi Carol,

Thank you again for our precious puppy.  Katie's such a dream.  She slept most of the ride home, and when we arrived she wasn't nervous at all.  She slept through most of the night and has been such a good girl about doing her business.  I plan to enroll her in puppy kindergarten soon too.  I can't believe it's been a week!  She is soooo good!  She sleeps by my side of the bed and only wakes me when she needs to go out, which is usually 2:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.  I am so surprised that she already understands "Go potty"!

My boys went to camp today, so I had Katie all to myself.  We played in the yard, went for walks and practiced "sit" and "come."  She's so smart.  We all just love her so much!!!  George & I truly admire you for the quality of life and the amount of love you give to all your dogs.

Anyway, thanks again for my little love.  I'll keep you posted.
Take care.

Dear Carol,

Just wanted to let you know that Molly is doing great.  Of course, Wednesday night when we brought her home she cried and sort of wailed most of the night.  The next two nights were better.  She just woke up once and cried a bit, then went back to sleep until about 6 AM.  She hasn't had one "accident" in the house!  We've been walking her about every two hours and she's been great.  She's adoreable and lively and unbelievable cuddly.

She saw our Vet and he said she was wonderfully healthy, and he could see she was very well taken care of.  She's starting to teethe, and keeps going for our shoelaces, etc. but I'm sure that will calm down after a bit.

Once again, we wanted to thank you for giving us this unbelievable addition to our family.  It's obvious how much love you put into your dogs and pups, and it shows in how well adjusted and happy they are.
I'll keep in touch!

Hi Carol,

This is a long-overdue update on Gracie.  I'm finally on summer vacation, and am thoroughly enjoying being home with the girls all day.

Gracie is an absolute doll, and is doing great!!  She learns things quickly, and loves life.  She's very athletic and agile, and is definitely going to be a great agility dog.  I see a championship in her future!  :-)  She can't compete until May of next year, but we've started doing some training, and she LOVES it.  Races through the tunnels with my other dogs, and isn't intimidated by anything.  You should see her run along the tops of stonewalls.  It's great for foot-eye coordination, and she's amazing.  One of her best friends is a border collie, and she doesn't have any trouble keeping up when they run together.  We're going to a puppy agility workshop this weekend, and I'm so excited.  She is going to be a blast to train and run.

All my agility <trainer> friends love Gracie, and everyone comments on how great her markings are.  She's definitely a hit with everyone who meets her.  I've given your name to several people who have asked where to get such a great dog.  There are lots of spectators at our shows, and people always stop me to ask about my girls.  Sophie and I are heading to San Diego in September for Nationals.  Can't wait to take Gracie some day.

Enclosed are a couple pictures that were taken in May at our first show of the season.  She loved the whole scene, but was SO pooped at the end of the day.  The little dog she's with is one of the best in the country.  He's a 12 year old Tibetan Terrier, and has had a wonderful agility career.  People say that Gracie reminds them of him.  That's high praise, since his talents are admired all across the country.  He gave her the baby G.A.P. hat, because those are her initials... Gracie Allen Perry.

Hi Carol  --
Just wanted to report on Leo's first vet visit -- he's a perfect specimen of a cockapoo!  But of course you know that already.  The vet said he has the most beautiful coat of any cockapoo he's seen and he said he's got a great disposition as well.  Leo just sat there very patiently and sweetly during his exam and hardly cried at all after his shot.  We're so proud of him.

Meanwhile, each day just gets better and better as we begin to understand each other more.  He's been doing great with housetraining -- no accidents in his crate, he always goes when we take him outside -- and he's only had a few accidents when out of the crate -- so few, I feel like he'll be trained in no time at all.  Is that possible -- or am I being too optimistic?!

Most of all, I just wanted to thank you for all the love and hard work you put into raising these dogs.  I can see why your dogs are truly special, and we are honored to have one of them.

Take care,  Naomi & Rich

Dear Carol:

First of all, I wanted to give you an update on "Blackie"/Beau Brummel.  He is an absolute doll!  My mom just adores him.  He follows my mom all over the house.  If she leaves, he lies by the door until she comes home.  Even my father has decided that Beau is "a noble beast."  Much to my surprise, Demi just loves him, too.  They are very good friends now.  Just as you predicted, they lie next to each other on the couch. (I even caught Demi resting her head on him!)  He is comfortable enough in the house that he does not feel the need to pee on things, so he now has complete run of the house.  I think he did so well at least in part because there was another dog here to teach him how to behave in the house.  For the first few months he was here, he would just watch Demi to see what she did, and copied her. (My dad was beginning to wonder if Beau had a personality of his own!)  But we can see that he is a sweet, happy, funny little guy.

He greets every morning with enthusiasm.  He has to run out of my parent's room to find Demi right away.  We couldn't have asked for a sweeter, happier dog.  I don't think a day goes by when he doesn't seem to tell us how happy he is to be living here.  And his hair is finally growing out, so he looks like a beautiful cocker again.  You must thank the people who brought him back (because he wouldn't play with their kids.)  We definitely got a diamond from you. (Incidentally, he loves to run and follow my nieces and my nephew around.  They really love him!  He is incredibly gentle with kids.)  He isn't interested in playing fetch -- Demi has tried to engage him, although I don't know if she's throwing the "kong" (toy) TO him or AT him!  Anyway, my mom is deliriously happy with "her boy."  We couldn't have asked for a better dog.

Now, the other issue.  I'm taking the bar exam at the end of July, and my parents are going to be in Colorado that week.  Could I send Demi and Beau to your "summer camp"?  I would probably drop them off on the 23rd of July, and pick them up Friday the 27th.  Let me know if it is okay; I wanted to make sure I book you in advance.  I know your camp can get crowded in the summer!  However, I will solemnly promise that I will pick poor Beau up promptly.  You'll never get him back!! {grin}

Again, thank you for the "black blob of fur" -- he truly is an exceptional dog!

Dear Carol,

Zoe just wanted to wish Jagger a Happy Father's day from her.  Also wanted to say hi to you and Karin and Jim.  She's just over 17 months old now and she only gets better (if possible).  She's about 11 1/2 pounds and as sweet as they get.  I hear on the Cockapoos Yahoo Group how the females seem more stubborn than the males and it is so *not-so* for us.  Zoe is the easiest-going puppy, never destroyed toys, never even tried to bite me or destroy anything but my socks (Zoe has a foot fetish).  She's loved by everyone who meets her, and I have to thank you again for bringing her into my life.

I had originally planned to take her to work, but my stepmother is so attached to her that I can't take her because Caroline takes her for the whole day.  She is such a delight to all that get near her.

I want to thank you over and over for bringing her into my life.  She's the best thing that happened, and she's a real happy pup.

Thinking about you and yours,
Love,

Where and how can we ever thank you for the time, energy and love you put into raising your Cockapoos!  After spending time with you on your farm, meeting Jim, Karen and, of course, "Cappuccino", we understand how these puppies turn out to be so outstanding.  We were quite impressed with how clean everything was and how much human contact and love these little pups are given.  "Marley" made the 4 hr. drive home with us like a champ... only too pleased to cuddle in our laps.  He has such a loving personality and his intelligence is AMAZING!!!  He has already learned his name, comes when called, never goes more than 10-15 feet from us and the house-training is not going to take very long at all!  His blond color is exquisite and his temperament adorable.  He is 11 wks. old today and went to the vet for his next shot, etc.  Not only was he quite the "gentleman" but he so "WOWED" the vet that she wanted to know all about him and where he came from.  (Of course, we were only too thrilled to tell her our story!)  The vet was very happy to hear the story of a breeder like you who does such a fabulous, caring job in raising these puppies; especially when there are so many bad ones out there.  Only one problem... there is only ONE "Marley" and FIVE of us!!!  Is there such a thing as a puppy getting TOO MUCH LOVE?!?!?  HA! HA! HA!
Again, our many heartfelt "THANKS" for your devotion to these animals.  How very lucky we all are!!!

Dear Carol,
One year ago today you got up in your home in New York and prepared to take to the airport a very little sable puppy.  I can imagine you talking to her all the way there.  You may have told her about the folks she was going to live with.  They had just lost their companion of 13 and 1/2 years and were broken hearted.  They had called you and had seen pictures of this very beautiful little cockapoo girl, and wanted her in their home and hearts.  We can picture you petting her and telling her she would be fine on the airplane, and then putting her in the crate and saying your goodbyes.
2000 miles and 7 hours later she arrived in Denver, Colorado.  Waiting at the airport were her new mom and dad.  When they opened her crate and took her into their arms their hearts were no longer their own.
The last 12 months Annie as traveled another 5000 miles in the motorhome.  She has filled our house with laughter and joy.  Every day is a new adventure for her and us.  We still call her our puppy and I think we always will.  She loves the yard and the snow and the grass and running and chasing squirrels and sitting in the rain and little kids and her cat Rags.  She loves to eat and to play fetch.  She loves her bubbles and her walks in the park, and her swimming in the creek.  She loves to sleep with us in our bed and watch for dad to come home at night from her perch on the window sill.  She loves to cuddle on our laps and to run laps around the front in a once-every-day frenzy. She loves her bath and her blow dryer, and even seems to enjoy the brush.  Her eyes sparkle and her tail still does the turbo wiggle.  She is loved to her core.
Thank you.

Well, enough gushing...
Other than that just wrote to brag!

Hi Carol! -

Just wanted to thank you again for breeding such gorgeous puppies!  Our Cockapoo Charlie is absolutely adorable - people stop on the street and ask about him all the time, and I've given your name out to a number of Manhattanites who now want a puppy just like him!  Almost 16 weeks, he is more and more fun every day.  Our favorite game is now "fetch" with the stuffed cow you gave us when we picked him up; I love watching him bounce off to retrieve his toy with his ears flying.  And when I tell him to "lie down", he flounces and flops forward, throwing himself on the floor - it's so cute!!!

He's so healthy and sturdy - eats like there's no tomorrow, and he's at least ten pounds now and still growing.  His shiny, curly coat is beautiful - all black and white and silvery.  He'll be getting his last shot this weekend, and then I'll be able to show him off in Central Park and all over the city.  We may even try a puppy class, so he can spend time playing with dogs his age!!  He'll need an advanced class, though, because he's already learned alot of the simple commands - such a smart boy!

So thank you again for this wonderful addition to our family -

He graduated from his Dog Training Club in Lake Placid, NY just before we moved to Naugatuck, CT.  He is enjoying our new home and we think he is hinting around that he would like a little black and silver "mini-schnauzer-sister!"  We will see.  It could be a possibility, we will definitely let you know and give you plenty of notice.
Attached is a picture of our Rude Dog and a link to his web page.  We enjoy your Web Page often.  What beautiful vacation photos!

Well, if you get a chance please send a quick hello to let us know you are all caught up on the life and times of yet another of your beautiful adopted babies.

Best Wishes,
Jody, George and Rudy

Hello:

We thought that you might like to see some recent pictures of Boxster and Daphne.  Daphne has grown into a beautiful puppy.  Soon, Boxster will be going for his therapy dog test.  He was actually ready to take the test months ago but due to my schedule he was unable to attend the test.  Boxster and Daphne have become inseparable and get along great.  Everyday they make us smile.

Dear Carol:
Sorry it has taken so long to write to you about our black cockapoo Madison that we picked up from you two weeks before Christmas.  He was born on October 19th.  We have taken two rolls of film so far of Madison and keep saying we must send you some pictures of him but hate to part with them.  Madison has been absolutely wonderful and a joy to our family.  He slept the whole night the first night and only woke up once the second night and since then has been sleeping thru the night.  A neighbor gave me a great tip, to cover the crate with a blanket (totally) when the dog is put in there.  It took about 3 weeks for Madison to be trained (the snow and all).  Madison loves the snow and picked the biggest pile of snow in the yard to claim that he was "king of the poop mountain".  Seriously, he is so affectionate as you said he would be.  He loves each and every one of our children and is happy to greet each one of them every day.  My daughter has nicknamed him "wiggly butt" because he is so happy to see everyone that he can't walk straight because he wiggles so much wagging his tail.  Madison has had his first bath which he survived, he is getting used to the car and trying to make our cat Molly like him.  Well I just wanted to finally tell you how much we love him and are enjoying him we will forward a picture or pictures very soon.  Thank you for such a wonderful addition to our family .   Leslie, Steve & Family.

Dear Carol,
I just wanted to write you a thank-you note for giving us one of the most precious puppie in the world, my mom is actually smiling a little and my dad is enjoying it greatly.  She is so well behaved its amazing, thanks to you.  She has only had a few accidents, but not many.  All me and my sister do is sit and play with it all day long, we made its cage nice and cozy.  She is so playful and calm around everyone.  I think we made our whole town want a cockapoo now.  You may get a few emails from some of my parents friends.  Well anyway, i am just writing to thankyou again and to tell you that she is doing very well and we love her.

Hi! Carol,
I am not sure if you remember me, but my husband and I purchased a Cockapoo one year ago.  We named her "Sadie Whitney's Pretty Lady".  Sadie is a wonderful dog and has grown up to be such a doll.  We love her so much and would like to get another one.  We have been watching your web-site and the last time we looked you had a waiting list.  This time I checked, you seem to have some available.  I have seen some Cockapoos for sale in the pet stores but, they do not compare to your puppies so therefore, we would like to be a repeated customer.
Do you have any tiny female available?
Please let me know what sizes and colors.
Sincerely yours,

Dear Carol:

We've now had Daisy for one year.  Remember we picked her up last Christmas Eve to surprise my children?  Well, she's even more adorable and lovable than she was last Christmas.  She has certainly made herself a huge part of our lives, even at a mere 14-1/2 lbs.  She is the center of attention all the time.  We watched last year's video of her bouncing all over the place when the kids found her and then passing out on the couch, after too much activity.  This year she was in the middle of it all, ripping wrapping paper and still bouncing all over the place again.

Thank you very much for letting me have the world's most beautiful and sweetest dog!!!

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year.

Sadee (the spoiled puppy) was wonderful on the long drive from your place to JFK (Int'l Airport), never leaving Pam's arms... she was quiet and never made a sound.  She was really thirsty, so we got a bottle of water and a man offered a tin lid to let us give her the drinks... he didn't even speak English!  Many kids came and sat on the floor with Pam and Sadee.  'Got home and she was hungry, so she ate, growled at the cat and made our male (dog) Bo real nervous with the bouncing around.  We put her in the (SamsoniteTM) carrier for the nite and never made a sound.  I got up at 5 a.m., and she woke up.  Pam took her out... the cold air got her going, so Pam held her and got back into bed... she went to sleep instantly.  'Been all over the place, and won't leave Bo's "beard" alone... he follows her everywhere, and she is now in charge of the entire house.  She has grabbed a dish towel as her official tug towel and is presently helping Pam wrap x-mas gifts by carrying the wrapping paper back and forth.  We love her, of course.  The vet said she was fantastic, and now weighs 4 lbs. ... told us she was just perfect.  He has a miniature schnauzer of his own, and wanted to know if Pam ever puts her down!  Thanks so for making Pam's x-mas so nice.  It helps ease the pain of our loss of Tasha by having such a cute new (family) member here.  Thanks Carol... we will send some pictures real soon.
Have a good one!!!

Dear Carol,
There are so many things I could say about Callie, our wonderful 6-month-old cockapoo that we got from you.  Probably the thing that stands out most in my mind is how absolutely fantastic she is with my kids (ages 3,5,7).   She bounds on all of them when each comes down in the morning, and she leaps across the living room in the afternoon when she knows the bus is returning the two older ones from school.  As for the three-year-old, Callie loves to play chase games with her, and "hunts her down" when she has been naughty and looks at me as if to say "O.K., I got her for you, the rest of the discipline is up to you."  How they all love one another!  Callie has been getting much better behaved, and improves almost daily.  I have never seen such a sweet dog, and I have volunteered in three animal shelters and been around dogs all my life.  I tell anyone who wants to get a dog to look at your website, because they will get the most healthy and happy dogs.  You have been a great help with all the e-mail advice and friendship, regardless how much work you have, which I know is enormous.  "Thank-you" just doesn't seem to cover it, but I guess it will have to do.  I can't wait to get another dog in the Spring!  Take Care.

Hello again Carol,

It is so nice to see that you still have our previous letter to you in your Testimonial section, and I just wanted to say again that our little black and white cockapoo Bailey has been the best thing that has happened to us (besides our grandchildren, of course...).

He is 15 months old now and he has been a delight to both of us, and continues to amuse and befriend all who visit him.  He is a terrific jumper, a licker, a close companion, and a source of merriment to our two grandchildren.  We are happy that he is also very gentle with them, and waits anxiously for anything to fall from their highchair tray.

He is the perfect lap dog and full of affection.  Training him has been much easier than I had expected and he always comes when we call him.  He doesn't leave the yard, as he prefers to stay with us.  Carol, I can't tell you enough how happy we are with him.  What a wonderful breed of dog, and I could care less if he was a registered breed or not.

I wish you lots of luck and success with breeding these wonderful cockapoos!

I hope all is well by you.  I just wanted to take a minute to update you on Wembley's progress since he joined us almost one year ago.  The little black boy with slight tan markings has grown into a strikingly handsome black and tan guy.  (I think they call his coloring "phantom"?)  He tops the scales at 15.5 lbs.  I don't have a digital camera, but I will send a picture by snail mail just for fun.  More to the point, I want you to know how far he has exceeded our greatest expectations for a pet.  He is totally sweet, very bright and well-trained (training was a surprising breeze).  He is a delight -  affectionate, responsive and funny  He gives us more pleasure than we ever imagined possible.  I think of you often and fondly.  There is no doubt in my mind that this little animal owes his nature to your careful breeding and care.  Thank you so much!  Is it true that cockapoos are recognized as an AKC breed now.  Do we care?  Be well.   Fondly,  Kay Ariel

Dear Carol,

I have been meaning to write to you for quite some time about our dog that we got from you last year.  We came to you a short time after losing our beloved miniature schnauzer of 15 years.  You had a beautiful litter of schnauzers from your own Heidi and we chose the only remaining male puppy and brought him home right after we returned from vacation.  We named him "Shobi" and I must tell you he is just the best little dog (I'm sure you hear that from other people but he really is the BEST!  He is full of love and personality.  Everyone who meets him just loves him.  His first visit to the vet had the vet asking me where we got such a nice little dog.  Even the dog groomer said she would take this one home in a heartbeat and she doesn't say that about many!  Shobi is loyal and very loving.  His favorite thing to do is to go outside and play with his squeaky ball.  As a matter of fact all you have to do is say the words squeaky ball and nothing will stop him until he finds his ball  - wherever it is in the house -  and he brings it to you so you can take him outside to play.  And boy when we play ball he gives it everything he's got chasing it down and bringing it right back to you so you can throw it again.

He and our cat are the best of friends (she is very toleranat!) although they got off to a bit of a rocky start.  When we brought him home and he saw the cat he was so excited that he ran up to her and bit her tail and she responded by giving him a good swat.  Well for a good week or two he would run whenever he would see her but he eventually got braver and the two of them are often seen sleeping side by side.  The cat even "grooms" Shobi which he tries his best to tolerate but then all of a sudden he can take it no more and is off and running around and around in circles around her.  She will just lay there and watch him with an occassional swat or chase and wait for him to poop himself out and then they lay down together again.  Of course there are the times that the cat will be sleeping on her pet pillow minding her own business and in comes Shobi and grabs ahold of her pillow with his teeth and drags the pillow  - cat and all -  around the house!

I am so thankful to have this little guy as a member of our family.  I do remember thinking when I put the deposit on him that I could never be fortunate enough to get another dog as wonderful as my first.  Well I have to tell you I have been truly blessed with two wonderful dogs in my life time and I would recommend you to anyone looking for a schnauzer.  Thank you for your expertise in breeding such lovable and wonderful little dogs.

Hi Carol,

I am so sorry that I have not had the chance to write you lately, we have been very busy.  I just wanted to let you know Cookie was doing.

You know Carol, we cannot begin to thank you enough for allowing us to buy Cookie from you.  She has definitely added so much to our family in such a short amount of time.  I can't get over her wonderful personality.  She lets my girls put her in their babydoll stroller and wheel her around like she was their baby.  And John my husband walks her every night, as soon as he pulls her leash out she starts to wiggle all over.  As far as her color it is still iffy that brown and black is still mixed.  Everyone including my vet says what a great dog we have and how it was well worth that long trip to get her.

Again, thank you and please know that if we ever want another puppy you will most definitely be the first place we call.

Take care,

To:  angelwynd7@aol.com

Dear Carol:

My letter will sound so much like the others on the testimonial webpage.  We know how lucky we were to have gotten "Tigger" and we are very happy.  If you remember we had to return to Binghamton, NY and then a few days later go home to Virginia.  I guess this was the best crate training (each child took turns sitting with him in the back of the van for the ride).  The first 2 nights were rough - I'm not used to getting woken at 3am and then 6am the next night.  The third night however I put on a nightlight and except for 2 other nights he has never woken us again in the middle of the night!  We find that so amazing!!  He goes to bed when we do at 10ish and he waits for the kids to come down anywheres from 7am - 9am (depending on weekday or weekend!)...this morning Chelsea couldn't stand it any longer and got him "up" at 9:30!!

He is playful, so loveable, and soooo smart!  When he's running outside with Shaun and we need to catch him I just point and say "stay" and to our amazement, he does!  He's been doing this now for about a month!  He's only 4 months old!!  We get such enjoyment from watching him play - he acts like a cat - pouncing on toys - just like "Tigger".  I can now understand why people with Cockapoos end up with more than one.

And for those people with allergies that are concerned about how they will react, I can only tell you my situation.  My son and I are very allergic to dogs/animals.  I thought a "non-shedding" dog was too good to be true, well he is.  I don't do ANY extra vacuming and he doesn't bother us AT ALL!!  I think my husband and I loose more hair then Tigger does.  When we brush him he'll loose "some" hair, but VERY, VERY little.

I take him to work with me sometimes and all the customers LOVE HIM.  They've all been told where to get a puppy if they decide.  (Thank GOD we didn't go with a Bichon like we were thinking.)

We bathe him twice/week due to a skin problem and he just sits in the tub.  After running in the mulch I hose him down while he's sitting on the trampoline - he just sits there patiently.  We just love him to death!!!  We thought the kids would loose interest after awhile, but that hasn't happened yet.  They still fight over him, who gets to take him out, etc.  We're doing "OK" on house training, but its getting better....my husband and I are trained, the kids aren't.  We had planned on taking our new puppy to obedience training.  After two weeks we realized our puppy was so smart that we didn't need to.  He just amazes us.

Thank you so much for being in business and please continue to raise such wonderful dogs.

We're still working on a good one for your web page, and hope to get one to you fairly soon.  We just wanted you to know Boo is alive and well and very much loved by the Middleton family.  You promised us a good dog, but you gave us a great one, and we will be forever grateful to you for it.  He really is awesome!!

Hi Carol,

I haven't written in a while, so I thought I would catch you up on Annie.  She is the love of our life.  What a great little dog she is becoming.

We start our morning with one bark.  That's my signal that it is time to go outside.  When we get back in, she runs straight into the bedroom.  I put her on the bed and she runs up to Steve's head to say goodmorning to him.  LOL

We walk dad to the car and then we go for our walk.  We usually walk 1 to 3 miles each morning.

The rest of the day is lots of playing and lots of naps.  She loves her crate for rest time.  I leave the door open and she goes in when it is time.

Her new favorite spot is on the window sills!  She jumps onto the couch, and then onto the back of the couch and then climbs onto the window sills.  She loves to watch the birds and squirrels and cars from her "perch".  In the afternoon when it's time for Steve to come home I sit her up there to watch for him.

When he drives into the drive way the turbo wiggle starts.  She waits for him to get out of the car and then leaps off the couch and runs to the front door.  I let her out and she runs out the door ears flying and literally jumps into his arms.  She loves her dad, and he thinks she is the cutest puppy ever.

Right now with me on the computer, she is playing on my feet.  She doesn't like to be ignored when she is up and about.

Thanks again for your care in raising these puppies.

Judy, Steve and Annie

P.S. Pleas feel free to use any of our letters on your web site for folks you are interested in your pups.

Carol, as you know we had to put our 12 year old cocker spaniel down in February.  We were uncertain if we were going to get another dog because we both work during the day.  However, we decided that we would try to get an adult dog, who was somewhat trained and wouldn't mind being alone during the day.  After searching the various rescue centers, we could only find large animals who really didn't need to be housebound all day.  Then, I made a telephone call to you.  Needless to say, I still believe it was fate.  You had just what we were looking for (right down to the color) except for the fact she was only a month old!!  When you spoke with me, you told me about Karin and your training program.  You said you could send me a picture of this little baby and I instantly fell in love.  I had some concerns about obtaining a dog without first seeing it but, you told me I should trust you.  I am so very glad I did.  We agreed that Karin would train her for two weeks and I would pick her up when she was ten weeks old.  When I finally went to pick her up (it seemed like forever) I was amazed.  She was so tiny (only 3 lbs 6 oz) but so adorable.  We have had her for two weeks now and she is a whopping 4 lbs 4 oz.  She is very smart, will come when you call her about 90% of the time, knew her name in less than a week, and has only had a couple of "accidents".  She has become the "queen" of the house (and knows it).  I cannot thank you enough!

Carol, I was so impressed with you, your dogs, and Karin when I was at Mulberry Farm.  The pups are obviously what you say they are - healthy, well kept, and loved.  Molly is so sociable, she loves my grandchildren, has a very good disposition and is very healthy according to my vet.  If you ever have anyone who would like to speak with someone who has had the good luck to obtain one of your pups, please feel free to give them my name, address, and telephone number.

Please thank Karin for all her work with her - it has been a good "first step" in the learning process for Molly.  Thank you for making me comfortable enough to trust you in knowing that I would not be sorry that I took this little angel.  I am going to forward some pictures of Molly to you via the mail (I do not have a scanner).  I thought you and Karin would like to see them.

My home address is 23 Harrison Ave., Auburn MA 01501 - Telephone Number is (508) 832-9877.

Hi Carol,

It's been awhile since we picked out our puppy, June 15, 1999.  That day was like bringing a new baby home.  Since then Soot has grown to be a very affectionate little dog and just loves to be around people.  He is such a smart little fellow that there was never a problem with training and our groomer just loves him (she raised cockers for several years) and also boards Soot when necessary.  She even keeps him in her home with her own dogs rather than in a kennel.  When our 2 year old grandson visits he looks for Soot first, guess we know who he comes to see!!!
We can't thank you enough for raising such quality dogs: They are gems when it comes to temperament.  The kids love to play with him, believe me I'm not sure who gets the biggest work out.
Anyway, Carol, this is a long overdue thank you for providing us with such a wonderful companion.  I have also sent a picture.  He is just a little bigger than the last time you saw him.

Dear Carol,
I was wondering how you and all the little puppies are doing.  Zoe is doing great.  She's the sweetest, smartest and spunkiest puppy I've ever seen.  She loves everyone and figures they all will love her too (and they usually do).  She must have had a great beginning with you because she is just so secure.  She must be all of 7 lbs. now and she walked over to a 10 month, 87 lb. Bernese Mountain puppy and started playing (and held her own).
I can't walk down the street without at least 5 - 10 people stopping me and asking about her or playing with her.  She's the sweetheart of Central Park.
My stepmother has been wonderful and takes her out twice a day and keeps her in her apartment for much of day, which Zoe finds fascinating because there are 2 cats for her to play with and lots of rooms to explore.  She's won everyone's heart and especially mine.  I can't imagine my life without her.  People in my building say I haven't stopped smiling since I got her.
I will send you a picture soon.  I have to thank you for taking such great care of her.  She's a terrific puppy!!! Regards to everyone.
Fondly,

Michele

P.S. Please thank Karin for me and tell her she still sleeps with her elephant and let her know she's a very much loved little dog.

Hi Carol & Jim,
Mike and I just wanted to let you know we took Stroke for his rabies shot.  Dr. White of Halfmoon Veterinary said he is beautiful and just perfect but I'm sure you know this, right?   By the way, he weighed 9 1/2 pounds.
Stroke is such a smart kid!  Two weeks ago I asked him where his ball was and he looked at me and went right to his ball.  Since then he brings it to one of us when he wants us to throw it for him to retrieve and also knows what it is when we ask for it.  Also, the other night it was getting about 9:00.  He was laying on the sofa with sleepy eyes and Mike told him it was bedtime and to go to his crate.  Do you know he went right there.
We took a trip to North Carolina mountains.  Stroke went, of course, and did great; he loves to ride in the car or just go outside period.  Every time we stopped to eat, Mike would take him something to the car, usually a scrambled egg from our breakfast or a hot dog at lunch and dinner.  Every morning now, we fix him a scrambled egg and he eats it along with his dog food.  At night, we feed him some of our dinner meat along with his dog food.  He eats just about anything (except pancakes) but we don't give him alot at one time.  We put him in the crate when we eat and he knows to be quiet so he will get something after we get through.
Well, better go.  Hope you are doing well.
Fondly, Nancy & Mike

Carol,

A little over a year ago I had to put my precious baby to sleep.  A week later my fiance and I started to look for local breeders.  We found you over the Internet.  We had no intention to purchase a puppy let alone two!!  You came from the back room with these 2 little guys and I started to cry.  They were so cute.  I fell in love with them immediately.  Dave and I named them Pooh Bear and Tigger.  They are the light of our lives.  People tell me they are "spoiled" but I prefer "well loved."  I wanted to thank you for bringing these 2 boys into our lives, they are smart, cute, and everyone loves them.  Attached is their Christmas picture.  Feel free to use them on your web page.  We would be honored.  Let's just say Santa was very good to them.  Pooh Bear is on the left and Tigger is on the right.  We want to let you know that we were doing fine and they are great.
Pooh Bear & Tigger; Christmas 1999

Sincerely,
Megan S.
