Subj:  Our cockapoo, Pacino

Dear Carol,
Just checking in seven years later to tell you that our dear boy, Pacino, has been a joy.  People are  always remarking about how cute and mild-mannered he is.  Hard to believe he is already seven years old!
Thank you for bringing this wonderful dog to our family!

Subj:  Flea/Tick treatment?

How are you Carol?  I hope you're enjoying this mild winter we're having.

Tucker is doing AWESOME!  We just adore him.  He's 5 months now and is going to get neuter this week.  While I was speaking with the vet they mentioned flea and tick medicine which I have not given him yet (oops).  I see 3 red blister packs called "spot on" in the bag of supplies we got from you.  Is that for fleas and ticks?  How do I use it?

I also noticed the vitamins in the bottom of the bag!  Should we have been giving those all along?  Is it too late to start?

We recently boarded Tucker for the weekend and they loved him.  Said he instantly became the mascot of the place and did great with the other dogs.  I don't think we could've asked for a better dog.  And so stinkin' cute!!!!!

Please enter your comments:Our sweetie, Charley will be 8 years old next month!  Boy does time fly!  I remember picking him up when he was a 4 month old pup.  He was quite the livewire and I worried that we couldn't handle him.  He refused at the time to be cage-trained and was a crazy upset dog when we put him in there.
When we gave up... and let him wander and follow us, his personality changed and he's been the most fun and funny dog.  He's the comic relief in our family.  We're forever poking each other (gently ) to look at Charley to see the latest cute thing he's doing.  We love him to pieces.  The funniest thing is that he now WANTS to sleep in his cage , which we keep in our bedroom... with his door open.  Early in the morning, he'll leave the cage and jump on our bed... give us lots of kisses... go to the end of the bed and sleep for a few hours more.  Don't know what we'd do without him.  Just wanted you to know he's fine and a happy boy.  Hope you are well and do think about you and your farm often.  Please let us know if you'll be having a get-together this year.  If possible, we will come.  Thanks so much for bringing such joy to our lives.
Fondly, Bette
(If you recall, I MADE Marv go with me from Cape Cod just after he'd broken his wrist playing tennis.  I did all the driving so he could Ice his wrist, but there was no way I was going to give up this opportunity to pick up our Charley-boy!)

Please enter your comments:Dear Mulberry Family,
Back in Feb. of 2006, my wife and I and our daughter made the long trip from Setauket Long Island to Mulberry Farms.  Our son Thomas was 4 years old at the time and did not make the trip.  However today we were looking at your website and he spotted the picture of his family with MAX in his sisters arms for the first time and it brought him so much joy.  Max has been wonderful and he is loved around here very much.  Thank you so much!

Greetings Carol - just wanted you see how handsome Abe is.  He's 5 months old, 20 pounds, and the sweetest most loving boy.  He gets along so well with all dogs and humans!  And of course, loves his brother Henry.

Subj:  Info from you

Hi Carol,

I don't know that you remember me but I bought our wonderful and well-loved (by everyone she meets) almost eight year old Rosie (black…she had a silver toy Dad and a smallish black Mom).  Can't tell you how much joy she has brought us and everyone she meets.  We recently brought her on a road trip to Michigan to see her sister and there was puppy/person love everywhere.

The reason for my email is that my friend recently had an unfortunate experience with their 2 year old dog.  I forget the breed, but Cooper started getting very territorial and bit one of her sons.  I know that her sons (both 10) are very gentle with the dog and are really nice kids and the dog was very well cared for.  In any event, after trying many times with trainers etc., they are sending the dog back to the breeder.  They love Rosie and she was the inspiration for them getting a puppy so I thought I'd see if you have any female your usual smaller size cockapoos coming up.  I love all dogs but I wonder if one sex tends to be more territorial than the other.  I've always had females although our last dog (a cockerspaniel) did not get along with other dogs at all once an adult.
Any info that I can impart on them would be most helpful.  I thought about you a lot on this recent trip with Rosie because we drove from Westborough on I-90 the entire way…passed the route we took to get to your place.  My Mom and I (now 87) still talk about the day we came to pick up Rosie and my Mom played with the puppies and I helped bathe a litter of schnoodles.  Being surrounded by puppies was my idea of heaven.

I hope you are doing well and I look forward to hearing from you.

Best,
Shelli

Subj:  Altmeyer's Cavapoo, Bailey

Hi Carol:
I just wanted to let you know how happy we are with our puppy, Bailey.  She left your home nameless in early February... the second to last female Cavapoo from the December 2nd litter.  Today is her 5- month birthday.
Bailey has fit right into our family.  She is incredibly social, lovable, smart and funny.  She has made friends with our 9 year old cockapoo, Tiger, and the two of them pal around together all day.  She is full of energy after breakfast when the two of them chase each other around the yard and make us laugh.  She loves to spend her morning and evening naps in one of our laps.  She also loves long walks of up to an hour a day.  We couldn't be happier with her in our family -- thanks so much!
