Dear Carol, Curley Born 12/21/04 to Hannah and Hunter

I am so sorry it has taken me over 2 months to write you about Curley.  We all feel that he is the best dog in the world.  He has been easy to train, happy, playful and a real joy to the whole family.  Everyone who meets Curley loves him, and we are sure to let them know about Mulberry Farm.  Curley is so fun to watch run around outside he leaps from the big rocks in our garden and loves to jump in the pond.  Every morning he wakes the boys up with kisses and drives down to the bus stop with me, he cries when they leave.  Everyday around 2pm he grabs his leash for a walk to the bus stop to pick them up, he is so smart!  I could go on and on about him but I sound like a new mother of baby.  Thanks for everything!  Love Melanie Doherty

Dear Carol,
We purchased a schnoodle from one of your first litters, and he has changed our lives.  We named him "Remmy", and he is the most perfect dog.  He is our first "family dog" and he will be the last because there will never be another dog like him.  He is the sweetest, kindest, lovable, cuddly, happy, and adorable dog ever.  I can't rave enough about him.  When we brought him home and went to our first vet visit, the Dr. was very impressed with his excellent health and overall condition.  He is now 3 1/2 years old and still the love of our lives.  We take him everywhere and he is always the center of attention.  He loves to be held like a baby and we love to hold him.  I check your website periodically and I am glad to see you are selling schnoodles again.  I rave about Remmy and I rave about you as a breeder to everyone who asks.  I thought you'd like to see a picture of Remmy all grown up!!!

Hi Carol  - Here is a picture of Poco at 6 months old.  He is absolutely wonderful.  The most loving dog I have ever known, he loves to cuddle.  He was soo easy to train - he's perfect.  He's very smart, listens great and house trained so easy.  He never whines, and only barks when he thinks something is wrong.  We just love him dearly...especially his hugs.  My son just loves him and takes very good care of him.  I am very happy I decided to go with this breed and very happy that I found such a wonderful breeder.  I can't imagine not having him in our family.

Hi Carol!

Everyday I mean to drop you a line - so I'm so glad you did...........

Our puppy is great.  We named her Liberty - because she is such a free spirit.  We call her Libby.  I've read your testamonials many times - but I have to say it - she is the best puppy!!!  We've had her a week now - from the first night on - she sleeps from 11pm to 6am - never messes in her crate.  She's unbelievable....Doesn't cry at night or when she's goes into the crate.  The first two nights she cried about 2 minutes and that was it...........honestly that's it!!!  We actually peeked on her.  We couldn't believe it.

Very well adjusted puppy - happy, great with the kids.  She fits right in!!  Even went to visit all the relatives on Father's Day.  Everybody loved her!!  And a couple of them are not "dog people" and still were crazy about her.  No one has ever seen a more calm, easy going, happy puppy!!!  I honestly was preparing for quite an adjustment - but I have to say it is so much smoother than I anticipated!!  You got her off to a great start!!!!!

Thank you - thank you!!!

I have a question for you.  How do you combat fleas and ticks?  The vet said to use Frontline™ - but I wanted to check with you first.  Also we found a store w/ Chicken Soup™ right here in town - we are going to stick with it.

Thank you again! and we'll keep in touch!

Sincerely,
Theresa, Tony and the gang and Libby!

If the "one list" thinks she looks good, they should see how she is to have as a pet.  This dog has dissolved our hearts in a way I never imagined.  The joy she brings us is indescribable...just indescribable...She had her first grooming a couple of weeks ago and came out looking like a dog I didn't recognize as ours, though we knew by our greeting that she was ours.  She also looked adorable...The groomer said she was by far the best-behaved, first-time pup they had ever groomed.  No surprise to us...I just wish she did not like to eat other dogs poops...it would make kissing her much more pleasant...but that is a minor complaint.

We will make the next reunion which I hope is not a summer one ....I would love to see the other dogs and meet their owners.  That must be a very satisfying experience for you and Jim...talk about doing something that is satisfying....

Have a good weekend.

Layla is thriving and having lots of educational adventures meeting all kinds of people and things like the shiny frying pan and the lawnmower.  She sleeps through the night from 11 pm to 6 am and is in her crate at least twice during the day for an hour or more without any complaint.  We keep to a schedule and know when she needs to pee and poop, then take her out before she has an accident.  MaryBeth has taught her come, sit, stand, leave it and no bite.  She rarely tries to mouth us at all anymore.  She is just great, and has put lots of smiles on our faces.

She eats less than a 1/3 of a cup at the two meal times, and we at first were concerned.  But she is obviously bigger and stronger just in the week we have had her.  The vet weighed her at 3 pounds six ounces last Tuesday (8 weeks plus 2 1/2 days).  The Veterinarian said she is a Perfect Puppy.

We have had her out for about six short car trips in the carry case without any problem.  We put her on a lead last Thursday morning without any difficulty and now take frequent walks around our yard.  She needs lead training but walked with us very well from the first time.  We were amazed.  We had a certified dog trainer over to our house last weekend to give us training lessons and will have regular consultation to guide us (not Layla) along.  She can go up and down stairs on her own.  She is very smart.  Bill was going to teach her how to install a computer hard drive but said it would be a waste of time since she probably already knows.

Layla is beautiful.  Thank you so much for your hard work.  It isn't any fun disciplining her but we do it without any anger and she responds quickly once she understands what we are saying.  We hope her sisters are doing as well.  Have you had any word about them?

Bill and MaryBeth Martin

P.S. - We greatly appreciate the quality of all the items making up your "puppy kit".  Everything in the puppy kit is of the highest quality and saved us money by giving us just what we needed but didn't even know we needed.

P.P.S. - The funniest thing was her first experience walking on grass.  She thought the top of the grass would support her weight and looked like a drunken sailor for two days until she adjusted.

Dear Carol,

We did not learn of your Cockapoo reunion until after the event.  Please add our email address to your list for next year.  It is fotindpm@optonline.net.  My friends Irene Matarazzo and her dog Kayse and Liz White and her dog Shadow attended and had a great time.
Cosmo and I would like to join them next year.

In the meantime, our dog Cosmo has had lots of Cockapoo friends in his life because of all the referrals we have given you.  The picture attached is Kayse with Alex Matarazzo and Cosmo with Mike Fotinatos on vacation in Myrtle Beach, North Carolina.  We stayed in dog-friendly condos in St. James, NC, and had a great time.  Cosmo still keeps his day job as a therapy dog at the Clara Maass Continuing Care Center at Kearny and brings joy to lots of people everyday, especially Perry, Mike and me.

Hope all is well with you, Jim and all the dogs and puppies!

Hi Carol,
We hope you are enjoying your summer!

We just wanted to drop you a line to first off, say THANK YOU for breeding our wonderful Schnoodle, Buster!  We got him from you back in April and we absolutely adore him.  He's such a smart, lovable boy and he's so adaptable to our lifestyles in Brooklyn, NY.

We've already taken him on MetroNorth to visit our families in CT as well as to a summer vacation to Florida.  He LOVES to be around us and hops right in his travel bag, and is ready to go.

We are such fans of the Schnoodle, we can't say enough good things!
And you did such a great job breeding him.  He obviously comes from smart parents!

Attached are some pictures of Buster.

Dear Carol,
As we approach Anoosh's first birthday (9/20), I just wanted to let you know how much we LOVE our little chocolate cockapoo...she's been a wonderful addition to our family.  The kids just adore her as do my husband and I.  She has an amazing temperment.  She's so friendly and social, loves other dogs as well as children.  She's just the greatest pet!  We are so glad we found you last Fall.  I've attached a few photos taken a couple of weeks ago just because I thought you might like to see them.

Hi Carol!

I can't believe what a total pleasure our new puppy is!!!!!!!  We named him Jesse, after our son Matt's buff-colored stuffed dog that was his "pretend dog" he slept with in hopes of a real pup someday!  Jesse has been a pleasure to train, is sleeping through the night (12m-6a).   First night was every couple of hours....but hey!  He is a "social butterfly", but VERY laid back, he's been to a Dr. appt. with me in his bag - the Dr. didnt even know he was there until I showed him at the end of the visit!  Everyone is in awe of his cute looks and lovable personality.  I have given your web address to LOTS of friends.  The only negative is, he's addicting!  Thank you!!!!!  I brought him for his health check at the vet, Dr. Alan Shanker... perfect checkup so far.  Also, I think you might mention to prospective buyers that because you provide shots, they will save a TON at the Dr.'s office.

With sincere gratitude, Lisa & Chet, Mike Matty and Joey Rametta

PS - He never even barks!  AND he "does his business" as soon as I say it, when I take him outside!  Do I seem a bit "enthusiastic"?  If you want a reference - I would be happy to, anytime!
