Hi Carol:

Last July, we brought home a beautiful cockapoo puppy that we named Lancer.  He has added so much joy to our lives.  He is smart and as playful as can be– a super frisbee player!!!  Lancer is named after our town mascot, "The Livingston Lancer", and has become a mascot of sorts.  Everyone always asks me how our adorable little guy is doing.  He is terrific with all kids, other dogs, and loves his sister, Belle (our 3 year old poodle).  Our daughters adore him!  What a great job you are doing breeding these pups.  People definitely know a good thing when they see it, because I know several other people in town, who have brought home/have deposits on Mulberry Farm pups!

The Cockapoo onelist has been terrific for advice.  Although I do not always post on it, I do get very valuable information and am privy to some great conversations– thanks for starting it.  Now, we see you are starting a calendar, so we are including a couple of pics of our little guy.  I am also sending you a little poem my daughter wrote about him.  Thanks again for a super dog and a forever friend.  Send our best to Jim as well!

Carol,

Although it's been a while since I picked the puppy up in April at the Farm, I wanted to tell you how wonderful she is doing.  We call her, Sadie.  She has a lovely prance when she walks.  Sadie is full of spirit, intelligence and offers every family member lots of love.  Her coat has stayed a beautiful silky chocolate brown.  She hasn't grown as large as we thought, under 11 pounds at 22 weeks.  However, she is trooper.  So far she has been on three plane trips with the family and goes into DC every morning when I take my son to camp.

We just wanted to say thank you for providing us with such a sweet dog.  (Oops!  She is one of the family.)  Maybe in the future we can come back for a second one.

Thank you again.

The Cort Family

Hi Carole,
Just thought I would drop you an e-mail to let you know that Kayse is doing fine.  She is a delight wherever we go.  People stop to see her they always remark about what a wonderful temperment she has.  You had predicted that she was going to be fisty.  You were right on the mark, as affectionate and loving she is with people when she sees another dog she becomes a she devil.  The other dogs seem to get a kick out of her even when she jumps on their backs.  My husband and I are amazed at how intelligent she is.  She is all trained, she lets us know when she has to go out.  She jumps into her kennel when she notices that we are getting ready to go out.  She knows when it is time to play and when to be respectful of the fact we are sitting down to dinner.  Just the way she greets everyone of us is so adorable.  My oldest son just finished college and came home with a male cat and Kayse just accepted him and has made him one of her toys.  If I ever figure out how to send a picture I'll send you one.

Thanks again for this remarkable little member of our family.  We love her tremendously.

Hi Carol,
Well, Emma is still amazing!
She is the fastest dog I have ever seen. AMAZING!
Are all Cockapoos like this?
We are wondering if age 15 months is too late for Agility Training?  Jake would LOVE THAT!
She is still as quiet as a cat.  HONEST!
WHAT A LOVE!
Still isn't thrilled about other dogs, still on leash with them.
We just adore her.  We heat her food in the microwave from time to time for a treat.
Jake took a bath with her today!
We are blessed.  Emma is blessed with never-ending LOVE from all 4 of us.  Even Chris(the husband) spoils her.  (Don't worry, not in the ALPHA WAY...)  She knows who is boss, but honestly, she does NOTHING wrong.  So it doesn't need to be.  She is NOT like any dog I have ever seen).
Never touches ONE THING that isn't hers.
Write when you can about agility.  Thanks

Laurie Renke

Hi Carol -

Happy New Year!  Thank you so much for selling Lucy (chocolate miniature poodle) to us last spring.  She’s the BEST dog in the WORLD - smart, FUNNY and loving!  We can’t love her enough.  When I reflected upon 2004, I realized that the best thing that happened to us during the year was Lucy.  She’s been a GREAT addition to our family.

Be well and have a happy and healthy 2005.

hi carol,
this is summer Williamson,my mom and dad are Ginny&rich Williamson.
I'm having my mom type this for me since my paws are to big for the key board.
I just want to tell you I'm the happiest dog in the world.let me tell you how.
mom and dad play with me, I have a favorite out of all toys, it's a little ball that squeaks every time I squeeze it.  when dad comes home for lunch every day, we play for a few minutes, he works about 3 minutes away from home.
first of all I have mom and dad wrapped around my paw (tee he).  I have soooooooo many toys and I own one end of the couch, mom has a blanket there for me and also in the chair.  mom sits on the floor if I'm a sleep in the chair.
I also sleep in the big bed with mom and dad, I usually go to bed before mom, so I pull down the covers (I really do ask mom) any way then she comes in later.  some times if dad falls asleep on the couch I go wake him up, I sit there and whine till he get up and goes to bed.  we also go visit my Grammy all the time and we go for rides a lot, mom and I have been looking at all the Christmas decorations, they are all so pretty.
I have also been playing in the snow, its so fluffy and pretty.
mom says I have to get a bath, cause my feet smell, when mom mentions a bath my eyes get real big and I say to my self oh no not a bath.
any way I smell real pretty after my bath, I guess that's called mom loves me sooooo much.
mom said Santa will be here in a couple of days and he going to bring me some goodies and toys, I cant wait ,also mom said we're going to make some cookies for Santa, we're going do that tomorrow, I cant wait.  I guess that's it for now just wanted to say merry Christmas, and to let you know how I'm doing.
love summer

Hi Carol:
We bought Yogi just over a year ago and I just wanted to let you know how grateful we are to have him.  We have enjoyed him in so many ways that we never expected.  My husband loves him dearly and never owned a dog in his life.  When my 13 year old son loses a baseball game the only one to make him smile is Yogi when he kisses his face.  My 8 year old has Yogi as his alarm clock when he wont get up in the morning.
And most recently, when my mother has become ill, we bring him to visit her and it always makes her smile to feed him treats.  He is like our permanent baby of the house and will not let anyone else hug unless he is a part of it.  We also have had no shedding and our house is quite hair free, clean and clean smelling which was of great importance to us as we have asthma and like to keep a clean home.  He is beautiful and well mannered and playful all at once.  We were also approached by a few people asking us to have Yogi breed with their dogs.  We had no part of THAT...
Just wanted to let you know that even with our travelling schedule and sports and our boys Yogi has become our third son!
Thank you,
Jana Ostroff

Cooper will be turning one year old next week - March 9th and I just needed to tell you how much we love this dog.  If anyone would have told me how much love you can have for an animal, I would not have believed them.  I never had a dog growing up and really didn't care.  My children had been begging us for some time, so I finally gave in - What a joy - He is chocolate with a little white on his chest - WE got him from you on a sunny Sunday - May 16th - He is the joy of our lives and I truly think he has brought our family closer together - We all lay in the master bedroom bed at night before the children go to their rooms - in our king size bed and love to comb him, pet him, snuggle him, etc.  Sometimes I think he is human and I think that he does not realize he is a dog - He is our baby - Cooper is such a social, well-behaved dog - He house-trained so easily and also crate trained.  I never thought I would let him sleep in our bed, but I do - Sometimes though, he gets up and jumps off the bed and walks into the crate to sleep.  All the neighborhood dogs love him - he does not care how big they are - he loves to play.  This winter, it was so cute to see how much he enjoys the snow, running in it, jumping, rolling.   He goes to Doggie Day Care sometimes and he is the "leader" of the pack.  He was "Dog of the month" for February and loves going there.   He goes crazy in the car in the morning when he knows I am taking him.  He plays all day and is exhausted at night.  It helps me out so I don't have to get home so quickly and he loves it.  He is also incredibly smart.  He tells me when he wants to go up to my room at night - tells me when he has to go out - and knows when he is doing something naughty- He is a thief and loves taking things he is not suppossed to - this in spite of the fact that he has more toys than anyone has ever seen a dog have.  I have never heard my husband talk so sweetly to an animal - he loves Cooper so much.  My children adore him and tell me each and every day how much they love him.
             "Cooper", a
Chocolate-coloured Cockapoo

Thanks you for breeding such a great pet - We love him sooooo much - I tell people about you all the time - in fact, the Lisa family got their pet from you through us.  Take care - Cindy Battreall (Brewster, NY)

Hello Carol,
We wanted to give you an update on our wonderful female cockapoo, Bella.  She has been the talk of the town!!!  Our 2 vets and their staff say she's the cutest.......cockapoo they have ever seen.  She is friendly and full of kisses!  Baci our choc lab and Bella have formed a bond like you wouldn't believe.  Baci is like a protective mother.  We left the 2 dogs with a breeder of Bernise Mountain dogs (the only way I'd leave a puppy was if my friend Karen would take her) and she couldn't stop talking about how smart Bella is and crafty!  She was social with the BIG, BIG,mountain dogs.  Karen even called the day after I picked up the dogs to say how adorable she was and missed her(Baci too as she is an exceptional lab!).  Karen kept repeating over and over what a wonderful job you do in breeding such exceptional cockapoos.  I thought you would like to hear what the talk of the town is around New London, NH!!!
Thank-you for blessing us with Bella who by the way is totally house trained, sits and waits, knows her name, comes when called and kisses on command.  We couldn't be more pleased!
                                                            The Clarke Family
PS
She was a total trooper trudging through all the snow we got in Feb and March.  She was like a snow plow coming in full of snow balls attached to her belly!  The cold weather didn't bother her one bit.

Hi there --
Hope you are doing well.  Not sure if you remember me, I bought a little male buff cockapoo - parents Melody and Beau.  We named him Poco.  Let me tell you what a wonderful puppy he is.  We love him dearly.
He is almost 5 months old, and has been FULLY house trained when he was 4 months old.  Amazing!!!  He is sooo smart, affectionate, gentle, protective, and CUTE!!  He loves everyone in the family - and my four year old son, Matthew, just adores him.

The Vet loves him when I bring him in....he really is a cutie!!!  He is doing very well - very happy and healthy.  I will send pictures soon!!

I hope all is well with you..?
Take Care -
Angela
